Wishing all American readers a Happy 4th July.
While it is currently popular to criticise the USA for many real or perceived problems, it is important to remember that without the stabilising force of your great country, millions or possibly billions of people on this planet would be living under far worse conditions than they are, if they had survived at all.
A recent survey of aspiring expatriates indicated that the USA was the destination of choice for 24% of those wishing to leave their countries of birth. The UK was a distant second at below 10%.

I wish I had seen the stat on the destination of choice if
expats earlier. I would have used it in my 4th blog post today. But
then, there is always next year.
